Welcome to THA TRENCHEZ

After the world split in two, the elite rebuilt above the clouds. Everyone else got pushed underground. Down here, bodies are upgraded just to survive, old-school hip-hop is scripture β€” and getting out is the hardest move anyone can make.

The premise

Every block has a legend.
Every face has a story.

A world-shaking event split society in two. The elite rewrote themselves through technology and evolution and rebuilt above the clouds as the Transhumanist Elite Dominion β€” T.E.D. A sovereign sky city where surveillance is total and order is absolute.

Everyone else was pushed down into a vast vertical city carved out of the collapse: Tha Trenchez. Life below is raw and improvised. Underground sports, crime, and hustle rule the streets. Chrome gets bolted to bone because it has to.

Loyalty over everything.
Survival is religion.

Told through short, interconnected episodes, the series builds the world from every angle β€” how it works, who controls it, and why getting out might be impossible. This is the beginning of a much larger universe.

Kai

A kid from Midway District who sees everything the adults miss. Curious, loyal, resilient β€” the eyes through which we first meet the Trenchez.

Marcus
Role // Protector Β· Guide

Marcus

A former enforcer carrying augments he'd rather forget. Now a guardian, keeping Kai one step ahead of the machine.

Matriarch Kaysi
Role // Elder Β· Keeper of History

Matriarch Kaysi Kai's Grandmother

The voice of the Trenches. Her augments are woven with ancestral symbolism β€” tech in service of memory, keeping tradition alive through story and ritual.

We do not forget. We adapt. We endure.
Roxy
Role // Runner Β· Enforcer

Roxy

Out of the Deep Cuts. Street luxe over tactical gear, confident, loyal, untouchable β€” she makes her own rules and the block knows it.

Tha Trenches raised me.
Brick Saint
Role // Heavy Enforcer Β· Sector 8

Brick Saint

Survived the collapse, the gangs, the corporate sweeps. Operates solo β€” no allegiance β€” and moves through the Trenches like a ghost, leaving messages carved in blood and code.

Loyalty is dead. Survival is religion.
Halo Switch
Role // Signal Runner Β· Tech

Halo Switch

Wired into everything. Encrypted gear, neural adapters, custom kit β€” if a signal moves through the Trenchez, she can catch it, cut it, or sell it.

Nyra Voss
Role // Cyber Enforcer Β· Collector

Nyra Voss "Pink Vixen"

Up from the Deep Sectors with a full cybernetic arm and a body count to match the fit. Ruthless behavior, high style, zero tolerance for disrespect.

Loyalty is currency. Disrespect is death.
Rook Vale
Role // Information Broker Β· Strategist

Rook Vale

Gold on his hands, secrets in his head. The man who knows everyone's price β€” and collects in whatever currency hurts most.

Max Notion
Role // Enforcer Β· Collector Β· Sector 7

Max Notion

The baddest survivor in Sector 7 β€” street-grade cybernetics, ruthless, feared, unaffiliated. Threat level: high. His run ends somewhere much colder…

Clyde Roxxer
Role // Cybernetic Operative

Clyde Roxxer VYX-07

More chrome than flesh. A full-conversion operative from the prologue β€” proof of how far a body can be rebuilt, and what gets lost on the way.

The Watcher
Role // Informant Β· Spotter

The Watcher

A survivor who sells information to the highest bidder. No gang, no faction β€” just a military-grade eye and a perfect memory. He doesn't fight. Information is his weapon.

The Collective
Faction // The Underpass

The Collective

The crew that runs the Underpass Encampment. They protect their own, answer to no one, and wrote it on the wall so nobody forgets: no gods, no masters β€” only us.

Robber Crew
Faction // Street Crew

The Robber Crew

Smash-and-grab specialists working the market levels. In a world where everything is scarce, taking is a trade β€” and they're professionals.

Trenchez Civilians
Faction // The People

The People of Tha Trenchez

Vendors, welders, runners, families β€” the millions who keep the vertical city alive. Every block has a legend, and every face has a story.

Locations

The Descent

The world of Tha Trenchez is vertical. Start above the clouds and drop β€” every level down, the light gets harder to find and the rules get sharper.

+12KM // ABOVE THE CLOUDS
Elite Sky City

The Sky City

A sovereign city of white spires anchored above an endless sea of cloud. Immaculate, monumental β€” surveillance is total, order is absolute, access is by clearance only.

T.E.D. insigniaSeat of the Transhumanist Elite Dominion // T.E.D.
0M // THE SURFACE β€” "THE SCAR"
The Scar

The Scar

Where the old world broke. A vertical city born from collapse β€” when the surface was repurposed, generations built downward into the wound.

-400M // MIDWAY DISTRICT
Midway District

Midway District

Flooded walkways, bridge housing, neon grocers and Elevator Street. Home turf β€” Grandmother's house is here, and so is everything worth protecting.

-1.2KM // MAIN UNDERGROUND CITY
Main Underground City

Main Underground City

A layered vertical fissure holding millions β€” corporate strips up top where the light rents high, gang territory in the dark below. The graffiti says it plain: no gods, no corporations.

-1.4KM // STREET LEVEL
Street Level Driving Corridor

Street Level

The driving corridors of the undercity β€” a layered artery built from scavenged infrastructure and corporate neglect. Perpetual rain, neon on wet asphalt, local crews running the blocks. Speed limit 25. Nobody's enforcing it.

OUTSKIRTS // UNDERPASS ENCAMPMENT
Underpass Encampment

The Underpass

A make-shift encampment under a dead freeway interchange, run by The Collective. Refuge and stronghold both β€” heavy patrols nearby, so the tunnels stay busy.

BASE LEVELS // LOW ORBIT
Low Orbit club interior

Low Orbit

The nerve hub of the base levels — a club and criminal hub soaked in red neon. Sound, sweat, and side-room deals: a public façade out front, a planning room in the back.

OFF-WORLD // PENAL COLONY LUNA
Moon Prison Base

Moon Prison Base

The bottom of the world isn't down β€” it's up. A max-security penal colony on the lunar surface, where the Dominion sends whatever, and whoever, it wants forgotten.

Field intel

District 92 β€” The Outer Trenchez

A trench-carved district on the South Spine, beyond the inner city. Markets, workshops, bars and salvage housing where law is thin, commerce is thick, and everyone is just trying to survive.
